about
Shortly after my 21st Birthday I started a project called Fly Golden Eagle. Before that a band in HS, and a screamo band in College. Fly Golden Eagle started with me wearing a golden spandex suit with wings playing along to beats bounced to cassette tape. With my boombox I would play only house parties around Nashville. Eventually Fly Golden Eagle became a full band with some of the most talented musicians around. We got to tour a lot and even got signed thanks to people enjoying the album “Swagger” and purchasing it’s collonge. Around the time of the release of “QUARTZ”, a double LP that synced to the movie The Holy Mountain, we got to play with some great artists, Rocky Erickson, Greg Cartwright, Arctic Monkeys, Alabama Shakes, and others. Shortly after that, the project Champagne Superchillin’ was born with some close friends in Nashville. Sung all in French by Julliette Busch, a native Breton, we ended up in New York City and released 3 albums on Soft Junk Records. During my time in NYC I would spend the winters researching the effects of frequencies and color on the body with a project called The Spectrum of Light to Bring in the Horizon. I also got to meet, write, and tour with some amazing artists. These days I’m working random jobs and putting my energy into writing music of the phantasmagoric variety under the surname Boone.
